Exwold Technology Ltd was established in 1992 to serve the global agrochemical industry in the formulation and supply of low pressure extrusion granulation products. The merger of Exwold in 2006 with Crack Processing Ltd was undertaken to allow the resulting, enlarged company to offer a wider portfolio of contract processing services to UK and international clients.
Crack Processing Ltd was founded over 70 years ago in London to mill and blend botanicals, natural gums and resins - the precursors to modern pharmaceutical and polymer industries. Over the following decades, the company grew and developed into a contract chemical manufacturer formulating and transforming speciality chemicals into finished products.
Today, Exwold is a progressive and growing contract chemical processing company, operating from three manufacturing sites in the North-East of England, employing around 65 staff and working for over 50 clients across a variety of industries around the world.
