Case Study
Exwold were approached by a major multi-national company that required a coarse powder version of an intermediate product normally sold as a molten liquid (~110oC).
On cooling, the product became a fused solid mass in 25kg blocks. This mass required crushing (kibbling) into a coarse powder. The processing was further complicated by the product producing a strong red colour which stained walls, floors and assets, and was therefore difficult to handle.
Exwold took the innovative approach of building a separate modular processing unit for this material, thereby avoiding cross contamination with other products and facilities.
Exwold are always happy to discuss projects that involve capital investment and it reinforces our strategy of collaboration and innovation.
