Exwold Technology has been awarded a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project commencing September 2010 for a duration of 24 months. The overall objective of the project is to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP), which will enhance Exwold's efficiency and productivity by re-engineering, integrating and automating its business processes.

Exwold have recently achieved the FAMI-QS accreditation. The FAMI-QS code addresses safety, quality and regulatory compliance of specialty feed ingredients and their mixtures.

Exwold have invested in roll compaction technology to bolster their portfolio. They have purchased the plant and ancillaries which is worth £750,000 and have installed it at their Brenda Road site in Hartlepool, UK. Roll compaction is not a new technology by any means but Exwold view it as an ideal way of producing high quality, lower cost granules to serve the global speciality chemicals market.
