At Exwold, we have a number of different types of sieving plant available to separate materials.
We are able to screen on one sieve to separate large or fine particles. Alternatively, we can use 2 decks so any over-size and fine particles can be removed at the same time.
The types of sieve we use are circular (Allgaier, Russell Finex), rectangular (Locker) and sifters (Powtek).
As well as sieving through a screen, materials can be separated using a classifier. A classifier uses centrifugal forces to separate different size particles. Our Air Classifier Mill (ACM) uses this technology to keep larger particles inside the milling chamber, thus classifying the material.
